My name is Misty Bennett, these pics are of our lovely dog Saint. Saint has had
a difficult time adjusting to our 10 month old daughter. My husband and I
rescued him about 5 years ago and have loved having him as a family dog. We
have had a lot of discussions on what to do with him, whether to keep him in our
basement or find him a new home. It is tearing us up but we have made the
decision to try to find him a new family.

He does have a sister dog that is our alpha and he does do well with her. She
has german shepherd in her and does a lot better with the baby. He is great
with children above the age of 4 and if our daughter was to be our only child we
would keep him. He is about 7-71/2 years old, was originally purchased by
someone to be a guard dog. He was chained up outside and had the chain grown
into his neck, he is missing one of his main canine teeth and is pretty
uncomfortable with any one touching his hind end. He is about 80 lbs. and is
just a big teddy bear who forgets how big he is sometimes. He does have a zinc
deficiency that does require meds twice daily.

We are hoping to find a loving family who would adore and cherish him as much as
we have. He does not do to well with dominant male dogs or any cats. He would
be a great addition for someone and hope with your help we can help make it
happen. We have decided that if we cannot find a family for him that we will
keep him and he will just have to spend a majority of his time downstairs which
is hard on all of us, mostly him.
